Welcome toWallands Community Primary AND NURSERY School

I would like to welcome all of our children and families to Wallands Community Primary and Nursery School. We have around 255 children on roll, with eleven classes, including a Nursery and a specialist facility for children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) and Autism Spectrum Condition.

We have a clear vision for our school which unites children, staff, families and governors and shares a determination that all children will achieve the very best that they can through high quality teaching and learning in our welcoming, and inclusive community. Following our recent inspection from Ofsted in September 2022, our report states, ‘the collective approach for everyone to be ‘ready, respectful and safe’ means that this is a great place to learn.’

We are determined that all children will achieve their full potential, and we challenge them to be independent, active and reflective lifelong learners. Ofsted stated that: ‘All pupils can learn alongside their peers in this school, and staff are well trained to adapt learning to make sure this is effective. Leaders have worked together to put robust systems in place to identify pupils who need additional help. Leaders make sure that pupils get the right support and that it makes a difference.’

We are committed and work hard to do the best for our children and are determined to live our motto of ensuring we are all, ‘Happy Together, Learning Forever.’

We hope the website helps to provide you with an overview of what our school offers.

If you would like to find out more about us please do not hesitate to come and visit us, by phoning the school office on 01273 472776 to arrange an appointment.
